C. florida Sieboldii

(syn. C. florida bicolor ) This spectacular species from Japan has creamy-white 3-4" (7-10cm)flowers with a prominent deep purple center. The blooming period is June to August. If in a container in a sheltered location the blooming period will be extended. Mature height 6-10' (1.8-3m). A nearly frost free location is required. Pruning group B1.
