About Macropetala Rosy O’Grady
Hybridized in Manitoba by Dr. F.L. Skinner for the Canadian Prairies. Light pink 2.5-3″ (6-8cm) bell shaped flowers in April and May, followed by attractive seed heads. Not nearly as vigorous as Dr. Skinner’s better known Blue Bird. Mature height 8-12′ (2.5-3.5m). Pruning group A.
